I was eager for a new experience. Sophie came out, so peacefully, so easily, after 10 minutes in the delivery room! Everything was different this time. No drugs, no trauma, skin to skin, a calm and hungry baby! She started breastfeeding straight away and slept so well I could not believe my luck.

Just wanted to thank you for teaching us. I had great experience and I think hypno birthing worked for me very well. I did not have any drugs, not even gas and air, I was calm and confident during labour. My baby was quite big 8.10 and she put her arm on the head , that's why she was a bit stuck and I had to breathe her out for around 3 hours, but in the end I did not even had stitches !!! Midwifes were surprised that I was so calm and were asking who taught me hypnobirhing :) I can't believe that it's so powerful Hop you are well and thank you one more time.

"It's a girl!
Baby Imogen Joy Collins was born on 02/03/10 5:42pm and weighed 5lb 14oz.
My waters broke on Monday night (@ 38 weeks) and soaked the bed!
It turned out that after a healthy pregnancy up to 35 weeks and projected weight of up to 8lbs, I had some sort of placental abruption, so when the membrane ruptured early, they said induction would be the best way to have a normal delivery. But after 8 hours labouring, and contractions a minute apart, I was only 1cm dilated and her wee heartbeat stopped accelerating after each contraction, so I was suddenly rushed into theatre for a c-section.
So it wasn't how I imagined it, but I had been warned that every delivery is different and they were so professional. So good news - it's all turned out well and as you'll see from the pictures - she's just delicious, perfect and we love her to pieces. A natural HypnoBirthing birth was and is still my aim, so if we get lucky enough to have another pregnancy, I will do all the preparation again. It was a great way for me to let go of my fears and enjoy the pregnancy and helped me cope with labour with almost no discomfort. Of course I recommend it and you for the ideal way to bring a child into the world.”
